This is an indie-rock song and it shows a variety of shots that have dark colours and natural lighting to match with the mood of the song. The song is slow-paced and sounds really dull and depressing, which matches effectively with the visuals since the shots show dark colours and several women looking miserable, and the narrative is about a man who has made his way over to a hotel where the artist is staying at so he can kill her.
There are also some motifs in the music video since there are quite a few shots of the artist walking or standing near the stairs and on an upper floor of the hotel. All of the female performers in this music video also give a fixed stare at the camera, as if they don't want the viewer to see what's going to happen, which is another motif used throughout the music video.
There is also an element of voyeurism in some of the shots where a female performer is seen in a bath with her head under the water, which could be considered voyeurism because parts of her would be exposed if we saw her entire body in the bath, so viewers would be made to feel as if they are seeing things that they aren't meant to see.
