There are many short duration shots in the music video that have bright lights in them and people (including the artist) dancing, which are the main motifs in this music video.
The short duration shots and the fast dancing and movements of the performers also match up effectively with the music, since the song is very upbeat and lively, and portrays a cheerful, exciting mood, just as the performers and the shots do.
There are also a few instances when the lyrics sung by the artist match up well with the visuals, such as when the artist sings the lyrics "put your hands in the air" as the artist and everyone around him literally puts their hands up in the air. The word "jump" is also sung four times, as three different male performers all do backwards jumps in the air.
There are also some elements of voyeurism in the music video as well since not only did the male performer expose the upper half of his body, but there were some female performers who wore clothes which exposed their stomachs, so these women have clearly been portrayed as objects of male interest.
Also, some of the young boys in the music video are wearing glasses and in most of the shots, the artist is wearing shades, which are both references to the notion of looking and therefore, this adds further interest in the music video since the notions of looking and the voyeurism work effectively together to maintain the interest of both male and female viewers.
