Johnny Flynn - Kentucky Pill

This is an indie-rock music video that involved the use of natural lighting and a variety of short duration shots.
There are a few examples of lyrics matching up effectively with the visuals, which include examples such as "I'm running" where some people can actually be seen running, and "I liked you when you wore those other clothes" where you can see lots of short duration shots you see the exact same people, but wearing different clothes. Two other examples of this include "Follow their feets" as the group of people who follow the artist actually move their feet sideways, as well as "Watering the flowers" as the artist literally waters some flowers.
The music is steady paced and relaxing, and this makes the music match with the visuals well because there are many shots where the artist is seen walking outside and playing in a park, which portrays a playful and curious nature that the artist seems to have. These shots of him walking on the street and in the park also function as motifs, and other examples of motifs in the music video are where the artist is seen walking around his bedroom with the other performers following behind him.

There is a reference to the notion of looking in the music video as well, as the edge of a mirror is seen in one of the shots that somebody is standing in front of, and this is a reference to looking because when a person looks into a mirror, they are obviously looking at themselves.lk0v2uyp2dysv0us.jpg
