The music matches up with the visuals because the music sounds very lively and is fast-paced, which matches with the mood portrayed by the shots and events that take place in the music video.
The lyrics match up with the visuals to some extent as the artist sings "bright lights" as four short-duration cut-away shots are used to show buildings with bright lights in the background.
The only notion of looking in the video is shown by the shades that the artist wears, as shades are commonly worn by spies in some action films, so the shades the artist wears further portray the notion of looking.
There is also an element of voyeurism in the music video as a female performer is seen in one of the shots having a bath, so this makes the viewer feel as if he/she is spying on somebody and is seeing something they aren't meant to see.
There are some recurring motifs used in the music video as well, as a shot of a female performer getting covered in rose petals is shown more than once, as well as shots of the artist sitting in the back of a car and short duration shots are commonly used in the entire music video.
