Bruno Mars - Grenade

This is an R&B song about a guy who was cheated on by his girlfriend, and feels that even though he would do virtually anything for her, she never felt the same way.

The music matches very well to the visuals, as there are shots of the artist sitting in his bedroom at night when it's raining, and the visual metaphor shown by the artist dragging the piano along with him portrays a strong feeling of sadness and despair, as he feels that he is carrying the world on his shoulders (not literally) since he was cheated on. The short duration shots that show dark colours also further portray the sad mood of the song. 

When he sings the lyrics "black, black, blue and black", this matches to the visuals as he is actually wearing black clothes as he is walking through the street dragging the piano behind him.

There are some motifs used in the music video as well, as there are several recurring shots of the artist dragging the piano with him using a rope, and a few shots of him sitting alone in his dark bedroom, which help to further portray the mood of the artist and the song.
